Christina Bacon |
Hi, there! I am Christina Bacon! A Spiritual Transformational Speaker, Re-Storyteller, Philanthropist, and a current college student of Criminal Justice-Social Work & Sociology. She is a single mother of eight beautiful children and grandmother to three grandchildren. She also shares her home with a feisty cat named Leo. For years, Christina lived with a broken life. She grew up watching the devastating affects of alcohol. She watched her mother get physically and mentally abused in the home by the hands of her father. This led to a lot of insecurities as a child. She lost her virginity to a rape when she was 14 years old and had an abortion when she was 15. She became an unwed mom by the age of 19 and has endured the collapse of two failed marriages. In 2016, her life took an unexpected turn.
While training for a triathlon, she found herself in the hospital with a blood clot in the lung and was put on blood thinners. While preparing for the removal of a mass in her esophagus, a tumor was found on the backside of her stomach. It was cancer! Christina was facing death’s door. It was in that moment she realized the most valuable gift she could give herself was time. So she decided to take time being more present to herself, to those around her and to be more present. This led her on a path to find true wholeness and healing; she began seeking guidance from mentors and spiritual teachers. Her story is one that leaves her physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually alive.
